Season 13 of When Calls the Heart premiered on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, and it is already surprising fans with a change in its schedule; it will not be shown on Sundays.

What is the reason for this, and when can viewers expect the next episode? Fans of When Calls The Heart are used to watching this beloved show on Sunday nights on the Hallmark Channel.

It has become a comforting series featuring Erin Krakow, Pascale Hutton, Jack Wagner, Kavan Smith, and Chris McNally-Hope Valley is a fictional place that many have been eagerly waiting to return to for almost a year.

However, when checking the schedule for the upcoming weekend, WTCH is missing from Sunday, February 8th, 2026-so, where has it gone, what has taken its place, and when can viewers finally see episode six?

The Show Has Moved To Saturday Evening-This Week Only!

The Super Bowl is on Sunday night on NBC and Peacock, so When Calls The Heart will air on Saturday instead-just this week, it will return to Sundays after the Super Bowl airs. Fans will still see a new episode, just a night earlier, so there is no need for Hearties to panic.

This week’s synopsis says: “A familiar face returns with a fun new gadget…the polygraph. Nathan is caught off guard by a playful question.” Melissa Gilbert is rumored to return as Georgie McGill in this new episode, she played Laura Ingalls as a child and young married woman.

Fans have watched Melissa grow up as she was beloved on Little House on the Prairie, although she’s in the news recently for not such a sweet reason, related to her husband’s legal troubles.

The Show Will Return To Sundays With The Next Week’s Episode

When the announcement was made about how fans could watch the new episode of When Calls the Heart on Saturday at 10 pm EST, it left many fans bewildered. They were confused about why it was scheduled for Saturday instead of Sunday.

Thankfully, once other Hearties clarified that the Super Bowl was the cause, everything clicked into place, and there was no anger. Additionally, WCTH will be available for streaming the next day on Hallmark Plus, so if anyone misses it on Saturday, they can always catch it on Sunday morning.
