Devious Doctor Debuts

Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of February 9-13 confirm that actress Cecilia Specht will debut a new character on canvas this Friday, February 13, as she enters the role of Dr. Lia Whitmore, Garland Memorial Hospital’s chief of staff.

The character will be seen for a 20-episode storyline that will have Lia in the Fairmont crest until the end of May. Expect Lia to be a devious villainess who draws drama for the Dupree family, as well as other characters on BTG, thanks to her web of lies.

Lynette Wise Is Back

Hayley Hamilton’s (Marquita Goings) old scheming associate, Lynette Wise, is back this week, and she’ll throw her friend for a loop. Beyond the Gates fans can expect to see her on Monday, February 9, as she corners Hayley to help her with a scam.

From the sounds of it, Lynette has a plan that involves Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), and Hayley may be forced to do her dirty work. Fans will have to catch the CBS soap to see exactly what Lynette’s plot is and how Hayley moves it along.

More Casting Notes

Speaking of Hayley, fans can also expect to see her cousin and scheming partner, Randy Parker, played by Maurice P. Kerry. Hayley will give Randy an update on Lynette’s demands during the Thursday, February 12 show, and he won’t be happy to hear them.

In addition, Jan Morgan, played by Jerri Tubbs, will be seen on the canvas during the February 9 episode, as she tries to navigate peace between Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) and fellow recurring player, Derek Baldwin, played by Ben Gavin.

Jan is hoping to snag a job for Derek at Leslie’s new clinic, but can he land on the same page as the villainess? Only time will tell!

Finally, Fairmont Crest gossip, Anastasia Belleclaire, played by Timeca Seretti, will once again clash with Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) during the Wednesday, February 11 show.
