General Hospital Spoilers: Will Nathan Lose Interest In Lulu When He Learns Maxie’s Awake

General Hospital spoilers have been teasing a Nathan West and Lulu Spencer romance for months on the ABC soap. 

It was one of the slowest burning relationships to grace our TV’s in a while, but things between Nathan and Lulu are finally starting to heat up and sparks have been flying. 

Maxie’s dead husband and BFF just shared their first and second kiss.  Have they run out of time though?  

Maxie Wakes Up

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) bonded with Lulu Spencer when he returned to Port Charles because she was his wife’s best-friend.  Lulu and Nathan began spending time together because of their mutual love for Maxie, and slowly started developing feelings for each other. 

Even though Maxie moved on after Nathan’s “death,” Lulu has definitely been battling guilt over the new man in her life.  

This week on General Hospital, Kirsten Storms’ big return as Maxie Jones aired.  The emotional scenes showed Maxie waking up from her coma in Boston, shocking her kids and mother Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner). 

The writers didn’t disappoint and definitely gave the character the comeback she deserved.  It’s only going to be a matter of time before she returns to Port Charles and comes face to face with Nathan.

Nathan Never Moved On?

Nathan West was killed in 2018, just two years short of a decade ago.  General Hospital viewers know that Maxie definitely moved on after becoming a widow, a few times actually. 

In fact, Maxie even had another kid after her husband’s death (with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) before settling back down with her first baby-daddy Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).  

Spoilers hint there could be some heartbreak ahead for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).  When Nathan learns that his wife has woken up from her coma, he will probably want to see her immediately and Maxie is going to be in for a shock.  Could having Maxie back in Port Charles change how Nathan feels about Lulu?
