Is Jason Morgan In Danger On General Hospital

General Hospital comings and goings recently revealed that Jason Morgan will be exiting the ABC soap.  Steve Burton confirmed he was leaving GH on social media and insisted it wasn’t forever and he would try to come back this summer. 

But in the mean time, the soap opera is going to have to explain his absence and the character could be in danger.

How Will Jason Morgan Exit

If Jason Morgan is going to be off the canvas for several months, the GH writers are going to have to explain where he went.  Right now Jason is key player in Port Charles and wrapped up in several storylines. 

It doesn’t make sense that he would just “leave town” right now for no reason.  But if he gets hurt or even worse is held hostage, that will buy the writers some time until Burton is ready to return.  

Right now all eyes are on Anna Devane’s storyline on the daytime show.  Jason Morgan is heavily involved in solving the mystery of the agent turned mental patient. 

In fact, Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) just returned from visiting Anna in the hospital and delivered a message to Jason for her.  Plus, Jocelyn just dropped more clues in Jason’s lap about Anna and Faison.  

Jason Gets Hurt Visiting Anna?

General Hospital spoilers hint Jason is going to try to get to Anna Devane himself, and that would be the perfect opportunity for the character to get injured or captured. 

If someone is making Anna go mental to keep her locked up, who is to say they won’t do the same thing to Jason if he is caught there?  There’s also the chance that Jason could get shot and end up in another coma for a few months.

No matter how it plays out, something is going to have to happen to Jason Morgan so that he can be off the canvas. How do you think the writers will explain his exit?
