General Hospital Spoilers: With His Enemies Drawing Nearer, Who Will Become Sidwell’s Next Victim?

General Hospital spoilers gossip Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has done his best to integrate himself into society in Port Charles from his first day in town.

He’s a bit of a social butterfly and appears to love getting under people’s skin just enough to pique their interest and make some of them worry. He knows how to keep his enemies — and his competition — on their toes.

But as of late, people are getting hip to Sidwell’s crimes and unethical behavior, and they’re starting to sniff around where he doesn’t want them.

The question isn’t who is going to unearth what Sidwell is it to. The question is who may not be able to succeed when they attempt it?

Jason Just Waived Goodbye

With news of Steve Burton’s impending break from the hit sudser coming out this week, we have to examine the very real possibility that Sidwell will be the one to take Jason away from us.

Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Sidwell is going to kill Jason; he could have something much more long-term in mind. If Sidwell and his cronies were capable of driving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) a bit out of her mind, could they try it on Jason next?

Holding him in captivity and slowly warping his mind — possibly in a way that leads him to turn on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when he “escapes” — might be far more valuable and entertaining to them than taking him out.

This would track with Burton’s plans to come back in the summer — signaling he’s probably not going to die.

Carly and Lucas are Both in Dangerous Territory

Carly surprised Sidwell by showing up at his door on Spoon Island. He never imagined she would take his invitation seriously, and neither did Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) or Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

But her apology, while acceptable, has sent shockwaves through the dark manor as Marco made it clear to his father that Carly can’t be hanging around the place.

He clearly doesn’t trust her, but his protective nature isn’t about his relationship with Lucas, but whatever he’s hiding in the catacombs.

Will Lucas dare to tell Carly she might’ve been right about his beau, and will they find their way to the catacombs together? Pascal (Marc Forget) and Sidwell aren’t going to like that one bit.

Lucy May Not Be So Lucky

Don’t forget that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is hatching a plan to reintegrate herself into Sidwell’s life. Let’s call it an overreaction on her part.

If Lucy can eat crow and pretend to be subservient enough to make room for Ava in Sidwell’s life, she may find space back in it as well, but that doesn’t mean he’ll trust her the same.

Sidwell can smell a rat from the launch, and he may be wary of Lucy — especially as Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) also seeks to reintegrate herself into Deception.
