‘Beyond The Gates’ Preview Week Of Feb 16-20: Anita Collapses, Jacob Leaves Naomi, Bill’s “Family” Problem

Beyond the Gates spoilers imply the CBS soap just dropped its promo for the week of February 16-20, and there are some massive bombshells to brace for. Find out about all the drama set to unravel over the next five days, below.  

Bill Hamilton Needs Joey Armstrong’s Help

The Beyond the Gates preview opens with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) in his office at the casino. He’s on the phone as he asks, “So, what kind of trouble have the Duprees gotten themselves into?”

Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) is on the other side of the call at his law office, as he states, “This isn’t about the Dupree family, it’s about mine.” Bill seemed mighty suspicious of Lynette Wise (Dominque Madison) during the Friday, February 13 episode. Will he ask Joey to look into her?

As the promo progresses, a clip of Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) is shown, and he’s at the police station, fighting with his father, Police Chief Elon Hawthorne (Malachi Malik).

Jacob notes, “I’m not asking to be praised or commended or anything like that.” Elon then asks what he wants, and Jacob boldly replies with, “I want some d@mn respect!”

Jacob Hawthorne Leaves Naomi Hawthorne

As scenes shift, Jacob is in the home he shares with Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit). Jacob tells Naomi that she may not hear from him for a while.

She responds with, “Tell me,” as he replies, “I’m moving out!” He gives her a concerned look, as she gives a worried look back. Is this because of his undercover investigation, or something else?

Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) shows up in the BTG preview next, and he’s at Uptown. He tells Lynette, “If I’m going down, you and Hayley (Hamilton – Marquita Goings) are going right down with me.” Randy seems to be taunting Lynette, as he brushes her shoulder gently with his hand.

Will Joey question Randy about Lynette? Then again, there’s a chance that Randy’s true relationship with Hayley (and the fact that they are cousins) is revealed. Regardless, it looks like Hayley’s plan is about to be exposed during the week of February 16-20.

Anita Dupree Collapses!

Across town, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) asks Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) why they can’t swap bedroom stories like regular sisters, as Nicole reminds her that she’s married to her nephew!

No one can blame Nicole for not wanting to hear Dani’s sheet action with Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), right?

As the Beyond the Gates promo wraps up, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is shown collapsing on a table at the Fairmont Crest Country Club. Veron Dupree (Clifton Davis) is behind her, while Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) is seated at the table and looks completely shocked.

Veron tries to grab Anita, as she almost topples over the table. Will Anita and Leslie have an encounter that causes so much stress on the Dupree matriarch that she faints? This looks like the case!
