General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is leaving Port Charles soon and Steve Burton has taped his last episode.

Let’s set the record straight up front: he has indicated that he will return to the show, which is great news. In the meantime, fans are speculating like mad about his possible exit storyline.

It’s been reported that the last time we see Jason occurs roughly in six weeks and he will be back to taping by early June and air in July.

Jason Morgan Saves Anna Devane

This week Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Jason that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is tied to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who is delusional in France after her kidnapping escape.

Jason is smart enough to realize that somehow Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is involved in the mess and we predict his absence has to do with getting to the bottom of the mysterious happenings in PC. Britt told him Cullum is ruthless so Jason knows that time is of the essence.

What Will Jason Find?

We expect Jason to leave PC and not be heard from during Burton’s hiatus. Since Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) wants Jason back in the WSB, will he rejoin to find Anna? Or will Jason be drugged and forced to do Jack’s work?

It could also be that the WSB find out about Jason’s mission and stick him in the same mental hospital as Anna to keep him out of the way under the WSB’s two-for-one-rate.

Finola Hughes is on a hiatus of her own, filming minimally which is why we see her inconsistently, so it makes sense that Jason and Anna’s absences could intertwine.

Then again, Jason could disappear on a quest to dupe Britt’s meds so that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) can have them reverse engineered.

Or, what are the chances there’s a plot twist in which Jason is gunned down and presumed dead—again?
