The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Matt Clark Returns, But Not As You Think?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Matt Clark Returns, But Not As You Think? The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that nobody knows what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ended up doing with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

With the news that the villain is returning to our screens, what exactly does that mean? It might not mean an escape, but a twisted and dangerous deal. Keep reading to find out what direction this storyline might go.

Victor Newman’s Solution

Let’s start off with Victor, who promised to take care of Matt. Nobody knows what Victor did with the man, including his own family.

Even Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) confessed to not having any idea what happened to the villain.

Now that they are moving on and dealing with other drama, the truth about Matt’s fate could come out.

Lily Winters’ Disappearance

Before speculating about Matt, let’s talk about Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) disappearance for a minute. Victor is using a fake kidnapping scheme to force Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) hand.

However, Cane no longer has control of Newman Enterprise because of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). However, it sounds like Lily’s fake kidnapping ends up turning into a real one!

Matt Clark Returns

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that with Matt returning to our screens, that means Victor didn’t kill him. Perhaps Victor locked him up in a homemade prison cell as he did with Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

While fans are speculating on Matt escaping, maybe there is a different kind of twist. One that is far more interesting than a villain escaping. What if Matt returns but is a bit different from who we remember?

Unexpected Team?

What if Victor has had Matt locked up so long that the prisoner is willing to do anything to get out.

This could involve forcing Matt to do jobs for Victor. I’m sure Victor would have someone tail him, or put an ankle monitor on him or something. Victor’s best shot at getting someone to do illegal activities was Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

However, these days Adam won’t just blindly follow orders. So, that means Victor might need to find someone who will commit any crime he says.

While Matt is very dangerous, so is Victor. They are both sinister, diabolical, and master manipulators. In real life, this would never work. However, soaps are all about making the impossible happen.

If Victor uses Matt, will things go as planned? Or could Matt use his newfound freedom to cause problems for the Newman family?
