Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel Calls Out Prince Harry for Spreading “False Narratives”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two-day visit to the Middle East did not always strike the right buttons. For one, they are now being accused of basically waylaying British ambassador Phillip Hall to paint their visit as a Royal Family-approved one.

But that’s not all the bad rep they’ve gotten so far since they traveled 7,500 miles to Amman at the invitation of the WHO director-general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesu.

It seems that one of Prince Harry’s comments might have landed him in trouble.

A few hours after Harry and Meghan rounded up their Middle East visit and jetted home, they were called out on Oli London TV because of an unverified comment Harry made.

“With all due respect, before using your global platform to level accusations against Israel, I would suggest a very simple step: come and see for yourself,” the statement by Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, Sharren Haskel, began.

It continued: “I personally invite you to visit the humanitarian corridor and witness firsthand how aid is coordinated and delivered. You are welcome to speak directly with the British general serving at the CMCC center — the British representative who acts as deputy commander alongside the American forces overseeing the movement of humanitarian goods. He will tell you clearly: the corridors are open, and thousands of trucks are entering every day.”

She further accused Harry of making damaging comments he didn’t even spare the time to verify. “It is deeply disappointing to see influential figures amplify claims without verifying them. With the reach and authority you carry as a member of the British royal family, words matter. Facts matter even more.”

“Frankly, repeating demonstrably false narratives raises serious questions — and one might say that if your trousers were on fire, you might not even notice. That is how detached these claims are from reality.”

She then reiterated her offer for him to visit and clarify things for himself.

She made this statement in response to Harry’s claims that “the aid corridors need to be opened. They’re currently not” in regards to the war going on in Gaza.
