The Celebration Takes A Turn For The Worse When They Get Home

At home, the celebration takes a turn for the worse; Theo blames Todd for ruining his birthday and demands a bottle of wine to fix it.

When Todd hesitantly suggests coffee instead, Theo loses his temper. The next day, Todd cleans up the broken dishes from the floor and informs George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that he won’t be going to work.

Meanwhile, Gary sees Theo getting out of his van and casually paints a picture of him and Todd having a lovers’ quarrel.

Alone, Todd tries to make amends by preparing some soup but ends up throwing the blender across the room.

Gary Arrives To Pick Up Clothes For Theo And Wonders What’s Going On

Gary arrives to pick up clothes for Theo and takes in the disorder. Feeling anxious, Todd worries that Theo might come back at any moment.

Meanwhile, in the Rovers, George, Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), and James Bailey (Jason Callender) attempt to lift Todd’s mood, but the mere presence of Theo sends him into a tailspin.

He runs away, with Theo chasing after him, insisting they need to have a conversation. Later, as James drives a disheveled Todd home, Theo lurks in the shadows, observing from a distance.

Theo Flips Out Over Learning James Spent The Night On The Sofa

Theo then overhears Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) telling George that James spent the night on the sofa.

He becomes angry and heads towards Speed Daal, noticing Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) engaged in a deep conversation with a client.

When Gary reveals that she is Annie King (Marie Crutchley) the woman accusing George of fraud, an intrigued Theo approaches.

The situation for the Shuttleworths is worsening, and as George faces some hostility from Maggie, Todd and Christina rush to defend him and are later banned. At home, Theo checks Todd’s location on a map. What has he discovered?

Jodie Feuds With Adam

Adam sees Jodie taking David the dog for a walk and starts ranting about cleaning up after him. Jodie forces a smile, feeling secretly angry about the confrontation.

Moments later, the dog lifts his leg against Adam’s spotless new car. Inside the café, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) is appalled to discover the dog behind the counter and threatens to call environmental health.

Later, Adam confronts Jodie, brandishing a bag of incriminating ‘evidence’. She claims to know nothing about it, and he returns home to share the story with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Alya, who seems preoccupied with another problem.

Jodie Panics For Fear Her Ex Might See The Video

Daniel tells Adam that the only way to catch the culprit is to witness them in the act. Undeterred, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) decides to join in the mischief as he and Jodie attach yet another bag of dog waste to Adam’s car and run off, laughing.

Their amusement is short-lived when Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) warns them to check the Weatherfield Community page. Jodie panics – if her ex sees the video, he could find her – and David Platt promises to talk to Adam.

A glamorous Amy announces that she and Ollie are going out on their first real date, which infuriates Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).

She serves them drinks, stumbling and ‘accidentally’ soaking Amy. After her night with Ollie, Amy returns beaming, and he’s already planning to take her to Speed Daal for dinner.

Maggie’s Panicked!

Steve and Ben are excited, but Maggie has different plans; she pulls Lauren aside, encouraging her to dress to impress and remind Ollie of what he’s missing. Ollie can’t help but admire her as she walks towards them.

Later, he confronts Maggie about her interference, accusing her of using Lauren to sabotage his date. Lauren then opens up, confessing that she still has feelings for him and wishes they were a couple.

Maggie fears that her secret will come to light; that she had an affair with Steve and that Ollie is actually his son-making Ollie and Amy close relatives!

Sam’s Worries Increase As He Faces Off Against Megan

Concerns are mounting for Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) as he faces off against groomer Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon). His day takes a troubling turn when he falls ill at the bus stop.

Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) quickly takes him home, expressing her worries to Nick that the stress of exams may not be the only issue at play.

Later, she confides in Megan, convinced that something more serious is bothering him, but the groomer dismisses her concerns.

Believing she is alone, Megan flirts with Will Driscoll (Lucas Hogdson-Wale) over the phone, only to be interrupted when Leanne returns. When Sam later visits the salon flat to collect his books, Megan can’t help but issue another threat.

Leanne Worries About Sam, And Sam Finally Exposes The Groomer

Meanwhile, Leanne expresses her worries to Daniel and apologizes for interrupting his flirtatious conversation with Megan.

Leanne, Nick, and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) all agree that Sam is overexerting himself with his studies.

However, when Megan suddenly cancels a date with Daniel, Leanne’s suspicions are aroused. In another part of town, Hope Stape (Isabella Flanigan) suspects that Sam is being bullied and encourages him to confront his aggressor.

Megan warns Sam that if he dares to speak out about his “absurd” theory regarding her and Will, no one will take him seriously.

Inspired by Hope’s encouragement, Sam finally stands his ground, proclaiming that he is no longer afraid; could this be the end of Megan?

Steve Admits He’s Avoiding Cassie

Steve admits to Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) that he’s avoiding Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) because he’s uncertain about marrying again.

In need of support, he asks Ben to join him at Jim McDonald’s (Charles Lawson) funeral, confessing that he’ll require a calming influence. Tim feels envious, reminding him that he at least had a connection with Jim.

Maggie is also unimpressed when Ben shares his intention to support Steve. With Liz Greenwood (Beverley Callard) and Andy McDonald (Nicholas Cochrane) opting not to attend, having distanced themselves from Jim long ago, Steve sets off feeling anxious.

A reserved Maggie reminds Ben about his hospital appointment the following morning and suggests they should call it a night.

Nevertheless, he continues to drink, leading to him missing his echocardiogram the next day. Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) gently advises Maggie that although Jim’s funeral may have brought back painful memories of Ben’s father, she shouldn’t take out her sorrow on the patrons.
