Publishers Reportedly Reject Sarah Ferguson’s $2 Million Memoir Proposal

The former Duchess of York is truly in dire straits after she and her ex-husband were booted from Royal Lodge, and now she wants to write a memoir to make money.

The problem is… no one wants her memoir.

Sarah Ferguson Reportedly Pitched A $2 Million Memoir Idea To US Publishers

The Sarah Ferguson of today and the Sarah Ferguson of last year are worlds apart. Last year, the former Duchess enjoyed a 30-room mansion on the impressive Windsor grounds, and today, she is said to be bunking with friends.

To crawl out of the pit she’s found herself in, she’s been fishing around for a publishing deal. Sadly, her idea didn’t catch the eyes of any of the major US publishers she reached out to.

“She ended up with a string of rejections and zero response in a few cases,” a source told The Sunday Express, adding, “It seems no one is remotely interested in being seen to be enabling her to cash in on the Epstein scandal that has torn her family apart and ruined her ex-husband.”

Royal experts have often predicted that a bombshell memoir will likely be dropping from Sarah. The problem now is that there are no takers. Is she brave enough to spring for smaller offers, or perhaps, independently publish it?

Of course this isn’t Sarah’s first rodeo in the publishing world. She has currently written a couple of children’s books and romance works. In fact, she had one in the works when the Epstein revelations permanently derailed it.

On her LinkedIn profile, she claims to have written 55 books, including “two autobiographies and titles dealing with health, empowerment, history, art, as well as children’s stories.”

Even though sources say she’s staying with friends, Sarah was last pictured on September 25, 2025, when she was being driven out of Royal Lodge.

Her last public appearance happened at her granddaughter Athena’s Christening at St James’s Palace on December 12.

Despite being rumored to be in deep financial straits, Sarah brazenly left the country to spend time at a £13,000-a-day Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland.

“Sarah left for Zurich just after Christmas and stayed until the end of January,” a Swiss source told Daily Mail.

The source continued: “She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she’ll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she’s feeling at her most vulnerable.”
