Fans Were Surprised By Stacy Haiduk’s Decision

Fans were surprised to leave that Stacy was returning to her roll as Patty on Y&R. However, Stacy is also in a front burner story on Days Of Our Lives.

Days fans are certainly wondering what will happen to Kristen Dimera and Susan Banks. Is Stacy vacating her roles on Days Of Our Lives or will she returns?

Haiduk made her debut on Y&R on Friday March 6. Of course, Patty is highly involved in this situation with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) who has been kidnapped by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Is Patty here for a short time or is she back to come better Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) once again?

Stacy Haiduk Speaks Out

Haiduk recently did an interview with TvLine, where she discussed her return to Y&R and her current status at Days Of Our Lives.

Haiduk says she isn’t under contract with the long running soap currently and that is hard for her to deal with.

“They put my characters to rest sometimes, and I’m always sad because I love that show and my characters so much,” she shared. “When they did it in January, I was disappointed. But when this came up, it couldn’t have been more perfect to just roll into another character that I love very much.”

Stacy Haiduk Would Happily Return To Salem

Stacy is currently on Y&R but is ready and willing to return to Salem when and if the opportunity presents itself. “Look, I’m an actress. I love acting, so yeah, absolutely I would,” she said. “I miss the characters when I’m not there.”

Haiduk compared this to how much she had previously missed her time at Y&R. “I’ve wanted so much to be back on Y&R at some point in my life because I missed the people and I missed the character of Patty.”

Stacy Haiduk Can Still Be Seen On DOOL

Since DOOL tapes so far ahead, Stacy can still be seen on the show until the end of the year.

Viewer will have the pleasure of seeing Stacy in three roles as Susan has been popping up quiet a bit lately. Stacy is definitely enjoying being back at Y&R as well.

“I hope the fans will watch double duty of Y&R and Days,” Haiduk said. “They can watch Kristen and Susan, then come on over and watch a little Patty. I’m really excited for them to watch all of the characters.”
