Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease there may be a way for EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to redeem themselves.

Might they be willing and able to save Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) life with Versavix, the drug they used on Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)?

Shawn Is Shot While Defending Liam Selejko With JJ Deveraux

JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Shawn intervene when Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) henchman Klaus Muller (Bassel Alzaro) targets Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) and Shawn is hit!

Muller has shown up in Salem in the aftermath of the DiMera kidnappings, going after Liam, who’d helped Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) with Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) sarcophagus.

Klaus is out to do deadly harm to not only Liam, but Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) who have returned to Salem, and know too much!

The situation is confusing and erratic, as he first aims for Leo and Dimitri through a window, and Liam seems to be in the way-it’s at that point that JJ and Shawn show up!

Klaus Stalks Liam As Leo And Dimitri Find Themselves In Danger

Klaus stalks Liam as Leo and Dimitri find themselves in danger, but Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) shows up and they defend themselves to him.

However, it seems like as Andrew interrogates Leo and Dimitri, Klaus has fled the scene and now confronts Liam! As Klaus aims his gun at Liam after dark in Horton Town Square, JJ and Shawn find themselves in a shootout, and Shawn is hit!

Shawn falls to the ground, as JJ can be heard in the weekly promo shouting his name, shocked at what just happened. In the meantime, Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) who really likes Liam, gives him assistance, but the whereabouts of Klaus is unknown!

Will EJ And Rolf Save Shawn’s Life With Versavix?

Days of Our Lives viewers should remember that Versavix is the drug that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) gave his life to save when it was in experimental stages and fell into the wrong hands.

EJ is arrested this week by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) as a suspect in Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) kidnapping.

In the meantime,  Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) bring in Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey).

EJ and Rolf, who’ll most likely be implicated by Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) will need something to bargain with for their freedom, and Shawn’s life is in danger from the gunshot.

Might they redeem themselves by using the Versavix to bring Shawn back to life, the implication being he succumbs to his wounds?
