General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may be a little overconfident when it comes to his plot to get rid of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) for good. Will Jason’s fatal attempt on Cullum be his downfall?
In the March 16 episode, Jason filled Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on his plan to terminate Cullum on the way out of Port Charles. Since Jason intends to flee with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) anyway, he’s ready to end Cullum’s life as he goes!
However, things rarely go according to plan on soaps. Jason’s scheme may bring disastrous news based on the clues offered in the week of March 16-20 preview video.
In that promo, Jason can be seen preparing to take a shot at Cullum through a window, but Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is standing there, too. There’s the potential for Jason to miss and hit Brennan, especially if Cullum shoves Brennan in front of him to protect himself.
Even if Jason strikes Cullum as planned, the real problem may come in the aftermath. What if Jason is spotted and his getaway plot doesn’t work out like he wanted?
Sonny had some worries once Jason mentioned this idea to go after Cullum. It left Sonny fearing it was too risky when Jason was already busy trying to get Britt to safety.
Sonny suggested he could have someone else carry out the hit, but stubborn Jason was adamant about doing it himself. Once Sonny accepted that, he warned Jason about how crucial it was for this to be a “clean hit.”
Sonny even went as far as insisting that if Jason got caught targeting a WSB agent like this, he’d never see the light of day again. Were GH writers trying to set up Jason’s shocking exit through Sonny’s words of caution?
Jason is normally great at evading the authorities, but this may be the one time he messes up spectacularly. What if Sonny’s warning about not getting caught paves the way for Jason’s arrest drama?
Jason could get handcuffs thrown on him if he’s backed into a terrible corner. Regardless of whether Cullum or Brennan becomes the victim here, Jason could get busted unexpectedly.
That might lead to Jason’s stint in Steinmauer or even a more disturbing secret site where he’s held prisoner. There’s also the possibility that Jason will become a fugitive if he’s able to avoid capture after all.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s exit strategy will take some wrong turns any way you slice it, so stick with the ABC soap. Be sure to make us your favorite GH hotspot for all the thrilling General Hospital spoilers and news you’re hoping to find!
