Here’s An Update On What General Hospital’s Steve Burton Is Doing On His Break

General Hospital spoilers note that Jason Morgan is still in storylines; however, he’s slated to exit the canvas very soon.

Fans know that Steve Burton requested a short hiatus from the show, and he wrapped up filming weeks ago. So, what is Burton up to during his quickie break from Port Charles? Find out below.

Burton’s wife, Michelle Lundstrom Burton, recently uploaded a carousel of photos to her Instagram. Played to the music of Jackie Gleason’s “All This and Heaven Too”; the pics were of Burton, Lundstrom, and their three girls on vacation at a resort.

The first photo showed the couple on their own, then there was a beautiful shot of a sunset among some palm trees.

There was also a ‘family photo’ of Lundstrom and Burton with their three daughters, and a video of ducks swimming in a fountain. The last photo was a post that said, “Sometimes the wait is longer because the blessing is bigger.”

Lundstrom’s caption read, “Romanticizing real life..highly recommend #romanticizinglife #familytimeisthebesttime #socalliving #healthymoms”

Burton’s Hiatus

Steve Burton hopped on Instagram in February of this year, announcing a “short break” from General Hospital but also promising to return to the ABC soap in the summer.

He listed his main reason for doing this was to spend more time with his family and his new bride, which is exactly what he is doing!

It’s nice that the actor was able to do a family vacation with his wife and their kids, so here’s hoping they had a blast (and it looks like they did!).

Jason will likely be departing from storylines sometime during the week of March 16-20. But how he’ll do this exactly remains to be seen. Burton is expected to return to the canvas in July of this year.
