General Hospital Spoilers: A Baby For Britt And Jason?! Will This Be The End Of This Couple?

General Hospital spoilers tease Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is on his way out of town soon, but it sounds like things are going to settle on better terms this time around when he more or less abandons Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Is that because he won’t have a choice? Right now, he and Britt are planning to leave town together for as long as is necessary to keep her safe and ride out the storm of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) taking care of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

Britt’s biggest fear has been that Jason would leave her in the lurch all over again, but rumor has it he’s going to be kidnapped.

But that’s not the biggest obstacle ahead. Another rumor has surfaced signaling that Britt is going to have a baby on board soon.

Best Laid Plans

It’s hard to imagine Britt and Jason finally getting a chance to see their relationship through, and it being ripped away from them — again.

At the same time, I kind of can’t picture them being anything more than two people who come together in crisis situations to lean on each other.

Their entire history is wrapped up in that kind of chaotic tension. What would it look like if they were just a normal couple without all of this drama, or — a family?

GH Spoilers Gossip Three Months and Counting

With Burton about to be on hiatus for three months, exiting reportedly next week, that leaves the window wide open for Britt to make some pretty substantial decisions in Jason’s simultaneous absence.

But pregnancy is the very last thing she’s expecting, and having to process the numerous side effects of continuing it — especially if she’s still using an unknown medication or believes Jason is gone for good — could be crippling.

Can JaBritt Survive This?

Speaking of juicy rumors, some publications have suggested that Steve Burton isn’t happy with his current storyline.

We can’t be sure whether that means he’s annoyed in general with Jason being involved with Britt again, or if he thinks a child at this point in Jason’s life seems irresponsible and not in line with his character or how he’s living his life.

Speculation aside, how will Britt manage this bombshell if it occurs after Jason is no longer around? A pregnancy with Huntington’s and no dad stacked against a new chance at motherhood she never knew she wanted?
