Anita looked worn out, dealing with her breast cancer and the terrible symptoms that come with chemotherapy.

It sounds like Anita’s appointment with Dr. McCormick will occur during Monday’s show, which is when Anita will ask to sign a ‘no resuscitation’ order. How will her family feel about this?

Bradley “Smitty” Smith’s SOS

Across town, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges) will land in danger and call Smitty to update him on the case.

The Beyond the Gates preview shows Smitty, very upset, as he reminds Jacob (who’s in an alley) that he told him he’d pull the plug on the mission if things got too dire.

As such, Smitty wants to pull the plug as soon as possible. It sounds like Smitty wants Jacob out of this undercover plasma ring investigation, but Jacob isn’t budging. Who will win this battle as the two Duprees’ in-laws butt heads?

Vanessa McBride’s Dream Come True

Lastly, Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, March 23, hint that Vanessa’s dreams may come true.

She and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will have a chat, where the blonde wonders if she’ll wake up from this “dream” between her and the casino owner just when things get “good”.

This is when Joey tells her, “Let’s find out!” Joey has already admitted his feelings to Vanessa, and the whole world can see the two are in love. Will he decide to make an even bigger commitment to her?
