‘General Hospital’ Recap Wednesday, March 18: Marco Busted, Britt Confesses & Jason’s Painful Choice

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) says goodbye to Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Also, James West (James Gary Fuller) accompanies his father on a date.

Baby Confession

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) meets up with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at home. The cops have made progress in finding the baby’s family. The brunette wants the baby. Chase admits he wants to as well.

Lulu Spencer’s Date

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is preparing a romantic dinner when Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) arrives with James.

The man tried to give Lulu a heads up, but she didn’t answer the phone. There wasn’t a babysitter available. Lulu will be happy to spend dinner with not one but two handsome gentlemen!

James gets excited and breaks a wine glass. The boy apologizes but then the food starts burning. Lulu runs to the kitchen. You see, that’s why I don’t cook. The chicken is toast.

Nathan feels bad. Lulu suggests pizza and arcade games. James is upset he got water all over Lulu’s phone. 

Liz Baldwin’s Bold Move

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) wants to do whatever it takes to be with Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Lucas Jones (Van Hansing) interrupts.

Liz says she needs to discuss work and drags Lucas away. Liz asks for his advice about Ric. Lucas is glad he took a leap with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). If she feels Ric has truly changed, then go for it. 

Liz returns to Ric. He assumes the worst, but she surprises him. She wants them to trust each other. Ric confessed about the fake digital detox.

The man starts to talk about Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), but they’ve already put it in the past. She doesn’t want to know any more unless it will interfere in their relationship. 

Marco Rios Busted

At Wyndemere, Marco promises to be better for his partner. As he opens the safe, there is no medication. Cullum shows up and Marco says it’s his turn to give Britt a dose.

Britt is gone for today and Cullum says it’s Pascal’s (Marc Forget) turn. Marco guesses he needs to check on the schedule again.

They discuss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Marco doesn’t know how much longer he can wait.

Brad Cooper’s Rejection

Britt and Brad meet at the Brown Dog. Brad complains about his bad date. Britt admits she’s leaving town and tells him why.

The lady says Lucas and Marco are both helping her. Brad is upset he didn’t get to help her, too. Brad is also upset about Britt still being with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Britt explains Jason is leaving with her. Brad is hurt, but is happy she told him the truth.

Brad suddenly wonders when Jason will abandon Britt for Carly. Then, he gets up. He can’t support this, but wishes her luck.

Jason Morgan’s Admission

Jason is at home. Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) says he gets to see Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) now. Jason is glad and asks about living with Alexis.

Jason has to leave town for a while and they won’t be able to have contact. Danny finds out that Jason is helping someone else, and admires that. They share an emotional embrace, then eat.

What Else Happened

Marco arrives at the Metro Court and updates Lucas. The doctor worries Cullum and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) know what they are doing.

They bond over terrible fathers. While leaving, Lucas has a house listing to show Marco. They both love it and can’t wait for a fresh start.

Lulu and Nathan go back to her place after their date. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) has James now so they can spend time alone together. Nathan carries her upstairs.

Back over at Wydemere, Cullum tells Pascal about Marco.
