General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Forces Laura’s Secrets Out Into the Light – Alongside Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers leak Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is furious about Mayor Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) decision to allow zoning ordinances that would permit helicopter traffic near the Quartermaine estate. As one can imagine, this would strongly disrupt the quality of life that one of Port Charles’ most powerful families enjoys.

It doesn’t make practical sense that Laura would want to lose the support of the Quartermaine family. But at the moment, it appears she’s not too focused on that, and this is going to lead Tracy to suspect Laura is nurturing other alliances, even if she doesn’t directly see that Laura is trapped under someone’s thumb — much less Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota).

How long will it take for Tracy to become hip to Sidwell’s compromise operation and how he came to entrap Laura in her own job? Will she have no choice but to help the man she hates — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — if she wants to save Laura, and her sanity?

Tracy has been around this bend before. She knows how politics work, and she knows how dirty people like Sidwell operate. She also knows Laura well, and understands she wouldn’t normally cooperate with a man like that.

Tracy is already zeroing in on Sidwell for his torrid activities behind the scenes at Deception, and he’s not taking kindly to her pushing back on his plans. So, it’s unlikely that Sidwell will warm to Tracy more if she starts poking her nose in where it doesn’t belong with the Mayor.

Meanwhile, Laura is getting chummier than expected with Ezra Boyle (Patrick Scott Lewis) as he continues to reveal the ways in which he came to be trapped under Sidwell’s thumb as well. He seems hopeful that Laura can learn from his mistakes and avoid similar pitfalls, but will she?

The Mayor is sure who she can trust, and in games like those which Sidwell plays, it could be that Ezra is anything but an angel on Laura’s shoulder trying to steer her in the right direction. What kind of psyop is she stuck in here?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Dog with a Bone

If we know Tracy, we can expect that she’s not just going to let this go. Since she’s already digging into what Sidwell has been up to with Deception, it’ll make perfect sense that she pushes Laura to give up whatever Sidwell has got on her — at least enough to let Tracy know it’s Sidwell who is the problem.

Genius could spark and leave Tracy in a position to expose Sidwell’s dirty money laundering at Deception, thereby getting him removed from the equation and releasing Laura from his capture.

But, in doing so, Tracy will also be setting Sonny free in the same way. Will she be forced to save Sonny to keep Laura afloat and her house helicopter-free? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
