Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Did Gwen Fake Vivian’s Death In Order To Frame Dimitri?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) may not be as dead as has been publicized in the Salem Spectator, for instance.

Since Gwen Von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) failed to get Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) properly arrested and put back in prison where she wants him, might she have faked her death?

Philip Said Ivan Marais Called Him, But Might He Be In On The Scam?

Be assured that Gwen could not have faked Vivian’s death without both her and her manservant, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) in on it from the start.

Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) told Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jiminez) that Ivan called him sobbing, to convey the death of his beloved Madame from a heart attack.

But Gwen was the one who made sure evidence was scrubbed from where Dimitri told Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) that he was as an alibi when he came to arrest him and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

Gwen was also behind Dimitri’s disappearance from prison, where he was indeed held captive in Alamania.

So Gwen has a lot riding on Dimitri’s continuing to be in prison, and faking Vivian’s death would be a favor to Vivian as well-she doesn’t like her Von Leuschner distant relatives!

Murder Could Put Dimitri Away For Life, Or Even Be Executed

Murder could put Dimitri away for life, or he could even be executed, and he could certainly have a motive-he was held captive in an Alamain property for all those years!

It’s beyond strange why his mother, Megan Hathaway DiMera (Miranda C. Wilson) hasn’t intervened to help her son.

It’s generally assumed she’s lying low so as not to face her own prison time for crimes unpaid for, but considering she left Salem with Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) who’s back, why isn’t she?

Perhaps Gwen and Vivian plotted to keep Megan captive somewhere too, possibly with the help of EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel)?

EJ and Gwen have plotted together on nearly everything else untoward that’s happened in Salem recently!

Perhaps Ivan And Vivian Agreed To Help Gwen For A Cut Of The Fortune

Gwen came back to Salem a very rich woman, still legally married to Dimitri and the only “heir” to his fortune left by his Von Leuschner relatives.

Even though her assets were frozen when Dimitri showed up again, somehow she’s flush with money again-did she bribe Vivian and Ivan for a cut of the fortune? Vivian may have a fortune of her own, but since when did that stop her from plotting various crimes?

It’s easy to believe that Gwen may have plotted with Vivian and Ivan to fake Vivian’s death as well as fake evidence to convict Dimitri for her murder.

Vivian could just have some plastic surgery and live out her days under a new identity, and no one would ever know!
