Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for Friday, March 27, 2026. In tomorrow’s episode, expect to see Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) get her sentence. The adoption hearing begins.

Little Girl’s Sentence

Let’s start off with the courtroom. The judge has heard testimony from everyone and has reviewed Rachel’s records from Bayview.

Kristen name dropped Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), hoping that would help Rachel’s case. However, Marlena could not agree with Kristen pulling Rachel out of Bayview early. 

It sounds like the judge is going to order the little girl back into Bayview. That will be devastating for Rachel as well as her family. Rachel has made a lot of progress, but I also think Marlena is right to be concerned.

Even though Rachel is innocent in Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis), that pinching episode was a bit weird. It was like Rachel was testing Marlena to see how far she could go,

A Mother’s Threat

While Marlena loves Rachel, she has also seen some concerning behaviors since her release. Kristen won’t care and will be looking for someone to blame. Instead of blaming herself, Kristen threatens Marlena.

Kristen loves to blame everyone else for her problems. However, she is the one who got Rachel out of Bayview before the hearing and against medical advice.

JANEL Adoption Hearing

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, March 27 reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will begin their adoption hearing. It’s Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) next case. 

While Belle doesn’t foresee any issues as this is to formalize the adoption, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) throws a curveball.

The woman says there is one more person the judge needs to hear from. That is when Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) walks in!  After hearing from Sophia, what will the judge decide?

EJ DiMera Steps Up

As for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), it is stated that he will step up. I wonder if he will have the judge finalize the adoption anyway.

While Chanel doesn’t want anything to do with EJ, Johnny would do anything for his wife. That might include asking his father for help, but that could eventually backfire.

Perhaps that explains why JANEL is exiting the canvas soon. Maybe they decide to take the baby and raise it outside of Salem.
