General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Dumps Betrayer Brennan – Jason Chaos Tears Them Apart

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate there’s a good chance that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finally ends her relationship with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) during the week of March 30 to April 3.

Their romance has been over for a long time, in Carly’s mind, so will she finally pull the plug on it because of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)? Let’s talk about it!

Carly Spencer Is D-U-N

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Carly changed her tune where Brennan was concerned after she found out that he recruited Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to the WSB agency.

Carly was outraged that Brennan would place her daughter in the line of fire by encouraging her to enter this dangerous career. Still, Carly couldn’t break up with him at that point.

After all, Jason was the one who told Carly about what Brennan did, and in order to keep her friend safe – and Josslyn safe – she needed to keep up appearances. On top of all that, Carly was foaming at the mouth for revenge against her “boyfriend”.

She ended up aligning herself with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and stayed with Brennan to gather intel on him to bring him down.

That said, with Jason being in WSB custody, extradited to parts unknown for shooting WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), things have changed in Carly’s world.

Fans may recall that Brennan led the pack of WSB agents who barged into the police station to take Jason away. If Carly learns this, or if Brennan refuses to help release her bestie, it may be game over.

Carly’s Plan B

As Carly has been pretending to still love Brennan, she’s had to hop into bed with him on occasion. This isn’t something she likes to do, so in many ways, Brennan’s refusal to help Carly with her “Jason situation” could provide her an easy way out.

Then again, breaking up with Brennan could be a whimsical instinct, as Carly is known for doing stupid things when she’s upset. Carly has been able to gather information as she’s close to Brennan; however, that would be done once she cuts ties.

Still, Carly has been crafty in other ways recently, outside of ransacking Brennan’s hotel room, so breaking up with her boyfriend may mean she no longer has access to intel, but she can still get information in other ways.

After all, she was able to help Valentin by finding the safe at Wyndemere, as she and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) are on good terms now – so there’s that.

Carly’s also been getting closer to Valentin and entertaining a romance with him. The two even recently hit the sheets together, so the idea of getting intimate with Brennan and Valentin may give her even more of the “ick”.

Regardless, Carly and Brennan are slated to clash at some point during the week of March 30, so upon hearing the WSB agent’s involvement in hauling Jason away, and his refusal to help, this may place the nail in the coffin for the CarJack romance.
