Apparently, palace staffers are worried that they are going to have to make some big changes sooner rather than later as Prince William will be made the next king of England after King Charles’s death.

Of course, none of this will be easy. The King of England has been struggling with his cancer diagnosis since early 2024 and while he’s been able to keep up with his royal engagements and public appearances, it has been getting tough on him with each passing day.

With everything that King Charles has had to deal with in his life, he’s never been more stressed than he is now and it all has to do with the fact that he’s had to strip his own brother Prince Andrew from his royal title and kick him out from the home that he’s had for the last two decades, the Royal Lodge.

What’s Next For The King of England?

As big of a scandal as this is, for King Charles he just doesn’t feel right having to punish his brother in the way he has. After all, family is family and this is the royal family that we are talking about.

However, there were also reports suggesting King Charles is also looking to abdicate as early as 2027.

Per Rob Schuter’s latest Substack, he says that for King Charles, it’s all about timing. He doesn’t want to make an announcement right now because he knows the optics would look bad, seeing how Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s names are in the headlines because of the DOJ’s investigation into Epstein.

One source close to the situation even said, “The transition will look measured and dignified. Health provides the most unassailable explanation.”

“Charles will not be seen as pushed. He has waited a lifetime for this role. When he steps back, it will be entirely on his terms.”
