General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie’s Disturbing ‘Nathan’ Discovery, Digs For Truth & Lands In Danger?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) won’t be able to keep up his Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) charade indefinitely.

Cassius has duped everyone into believing his lies so far, but he’s still had some slip-ups along the way.

Those slip-ups could become more frequent now that Cassius’ ruse is becoming more complicated. The longer Cassius poses as Nathan, the more likely it becomes that red flags will be raised.

That’s especially true for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)! Maxie was married to Nathan and knew him quite intimately, so she may notice some warning signs as she starts hanging around his imposter more often.

Maxie already felt something was amiss during her cemetery encounter with “Nathan,” but she brushed it off. Once Maxie heard about “Nathan” and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) wanting to date, she blamed the weirdness on that.

However, GH fans know Maxie is trying to accept “Nathan” and Lulu’s relationship, so that could lead to more time in “Nathan’s” orbit.

Of course, Maxie is also raising James West (Gary James Fuller) with “Nathan,” so that’ll give them another reason to be around each other more often.

James might even ask if “Nathan” and Maxie if they can do some things as a family.

The point is Maxie doesn’t see the red flags yet because she’s not interacting with “Nathan” on a regular basis. If that changes, Maxie may start to question “Nathan’s” identity and whether he can truly be trusted.

“Nathan” may not recall certain details Maxie might bring up from their past. It’s easy to imagine Maxie testing “Nathan” when it comes to meaningful memories and sensing that he’s deceiving everyone.

Since Maxie isn’t someone who just sits around when she’s got a hunch, she may do some investigating. That could include following “Nathan” and maybe even listening in on some enlightening conversations.

If Maxie discovers “Nathan” is a fraud, she may feel like she has to tell Lulu ASAP. Maxie may fear Lulu is in danger since “Nathan” has been fooling everyone with ulterior motives.

Unfortunately, Maxie could fall into a dangerous situation of her own. Sidwell already poisoned Maxie and put her in a coma, so what’s to stop him from doing it again?
