General Hospital Spoilers: James Heartbroken as Cassius Twin Twist Steals Dad ‘Nathan’ Away Again

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that James West (Gary James Fuller) will continue to look up to “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) without knowing he’s a fraud. It took a little time for James to truly bond with “Nathan,” but it’s clear that he adores his “dad” at this point.

Unfortunately, GH writers are setting little James up for more heartache. As Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) mentioned, James has always tried to fill the void Nathan left behind through plenty of father figures.

However, James finally assumes he has the real thing and couldn’t be happier about it. Since James believes fake Nathan is a hero, he wants to grow up to be just like him.

Sadly, “Nathan” is tangled up with the bad guys instead and is lying about his true identity. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Cassius knows all about Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) poisoning Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and approves of the advantage it gave him.

In other words, Cassius was fine with Sidwell putting James’ mother in a coma. James would be horrified if he knew that or any of the other sinister secrets Cassius is keeping.

Of course, now that fans are in the loop on “Nathan” being Cassius, it’s just a matter of time until the news spills in Port Charles.

It may take some time before the Cassius shocker comes to light, but you can bet the truth will be exposed sooner or later.

When that happens, Maxie may be the one to sit James down and explain that Cassius duped them. James will find out his dad is still deceased and that his twisted uncle has been pretending to be him all this time.

That’s going to mess with James’ head and totally shatter his heart. This will inevitably be one of the toughest things James has ever had to go through in his short life so far.

Since James has been known to run away, we could certainly imagine him doing it once more after he learns he’s fatherless again. James will struggle to wrap his head around this Cassius revelation, but it’s sure to be a crushing blow.
