‘Y&R’ Spoilers Weekly Update April 6-10: Matt Strikes, Helping Malcolm, Holden Compromised

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week of April 6, 2026. Fans can expect Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to strike.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) tries to help Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan West) is caught in a compromising position.

Villain Strikes

Let’s start off with a villain who will strike. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are still in Las Vegas.

While Adam is earning Riza Thomson’s (Tina Casciani) trust, he also seems to be embracing his inner Spider a little too much.

Meanwhile, Nick is falling deeper into addiction. He’s also sent out the word that he’s looking for Matt. 

The official spoilers don’t mention either man until Friday.

It is stated that Adam plays with fire as Matt corners Nick.

Holden Novak Compromised

Over with Holden, he finds himself in a compromising position. The man tries to dissuade Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) from using Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) to target Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Cane will say fine and declare he’ll find another way. 

Holden’s sacrifice for Claire has a double-edged sword, though.

The man will end up warning Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Cane’s impending implosion.

What will Lily do about this secret?

She is in a position where she needs to earn redemption, so could she try to “save” Cane from himself?

Later in the week, Lily will turn to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) for advice.

Diane Jenkins Abbott’s Fate

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of April 6 reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will keep trying to get his marriage back.

However, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) refuses to accept his apology.

Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) reconnects with Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

However, she will try to figure out what Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) plans are after her mental health treatment is completed. 

Multiple Returns

There are also a few returns. Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) returns to Genoa City with a secret.

Lily will spend some time trying to help him. 

Plus, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica Fox) makes a surprise visit to town. That leads to her having an emotional reunion with Malcolm.

In a preview clip, the two are forced to have a difficult conversation about their difficult past.
