While no one knows when it’s going to happen, it’s certainly going to happen sooner rather than later.

Of course, we are talking about Queen Camilla as a lot of royalists can’t help but wonder what might happen to the Queen of England the moment Prince William takes the throne.

After all, she is going to be a widow when her husband King Charles dies but at the same time, there’s speculation about what her role within the monarchy may be.

That said, when the Prince of Wales becomes the next king of England, Queen Camilla will be known as Queen Dowager.

There’s also a good chance that she’s going to be less active within the monarchy and that she might step away from public life altogether.

Of course, royalists on the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “Camilla has got her children to take care of her (or she wouldn’t have transferred property to them). With the relationship between William and his father, it’s clear that she will not be a part of the royal family going forward, dowager queen or not.”

Another critic wrote, “She will technically be a Dowager Queen, I guess? But really she will have no title. Or technically remain Queen Camilla.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Queen Camilla?

“I assume Charles intends for her to go back to Ray Mill, which she recently transferred to the ownership of her children for estate planning purposes, and/or has trusts set up for her. “

And then there was this comment as well: “She will become known as Queen Camilla, the Queen Dowager. That would be her title as the widow of a Sovereign. Nothing, really, can take that from her, barring a criminal conviction on an indictable offense. At that point, losing her title would be the least of her worries.”
