General Hospital Port Charles in Peril as Cold Fusion Project Spirals Out of Control

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Port Charles could be in some real danger, because of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) being rushed!

Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) told Britt she had to show some results on the cold fusion project after breaking the two vials of her Huntington’s meds and won’t give her any more yet!

Britt’s Missed Doses Are Starting To Show

Britt’s missed doses are starting to show, because she’s noticing her hand starting to tremble-this was the first sign of her dreaded disease that was diagnosed as Huntington’s.

If her father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project involves anything with mixing formulas or something requiring absolute physical precision, that could mean major trouble!

Cullum doesn’t seem to understand at all that not only will the weapon he wants built so bad may not work, it could literally blow up in his face!

If because of Britt’s impairment she can’t get it right the cold fusion weapon could cause great danger-not only for her and others close by, but potentially the whole Port Charles area!

And because cold fusion is used in nuclear weapons, an approach to merging atoms (usually hydrogen) at lower temperatures, in contrast to conventional fusion that needs millions of degrees, it could blow up the earth!

There Is A Mass Casualty Incident Storyline Every Few Years

Longtime General Hospital fans will remember that every few years or so, there usually is a mass casualty incident, or a potential one, during sweeps period.

The last one was when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) intended to finish something Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) started.

That was when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) stowed away on Victor’s ship, and had to be rescued from Greenland.

Victor had located several canisters in the ocean off of Greenland, and was killed by a drone strike Jack Brennan (at that time Charles Mesure, now Chris McKenna) initiated.

Victor had intended to release the contents of the canisters, which were somehow related to the Ice Princess diamond on the earth, spreading a deadly virus.

Rumor Has It The Faison Project Storyline Ends With A Mass Casualty Incident

Rumor has it that the Faison project storyline ends with a mass casualty incident, which could involve anything from radiation leaks to a nuclear explosion!

If that is true, we can expect potentially fatal ends to Cullum, and possibly Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) and at the very least, a lot of seriously ill and possibly burned Port Charlesites.

Who will live, and who will die; it is too soon to tell, although if radiation escapes the lab, those in the lab at the time and close to it will be affected first. Will Britt and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) get a chance at their happily ever after once he returns?
