General Hospital Spoilers: Marco’s Phone Mystery – Cassius Stole PCPD Evidence?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the mystery of Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) missing phone has to be solved; it has to be somewhere!

It was part of the crime scene at Miller and Davis where Marco was stabbed to death and the forensics team would have gotten it; but so far, it seems to be missing!

Cassius Faison Aka “Nathan West” Is Sidwell’s PCPD Plant

GH fans now know that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) plant at the Port Charles Police Department, impersonating his late twin Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).

Cassius was recently promoted back to detective and assigned to solve Marco’s murder-but he walks a fine line.

Sidwell’s “partner” which seems to actually be his boss is Ross Cullum, (Andrew Hawkes) who one would think, would have removed Marco’s phone from the crime scene.

But Cullum left in a hurry after stabbing Marco, and Marco was still barely alive, as Cullum picked up Marco’s phone and read a text, then putting the phone back down.

That’s how he knew to head to Pier 55 to confront Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), leaving the phone at the crime scene, right on Marco’s desk in plain sight!

The PCPD Forensics Team Should Have That Phone

The PCPD forensics team should have that phone, as it’s doubtful that it went with Marco in the ambulance. Even Patrolman Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) didn’t seem to notice it or at least he didn’t take it, when questioning Alexis after the medics took Marco to GH.

So, if it didn’t go to the hospital with the patient, and it presumably left Alexis and Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) office with the forensics team, why can no one find it? The only answer that makes any sense is that Cassius robbed it from the evidence lockup-likely at someone’s orders!

Cullum didn’t tell him to take it, the subject of Marco’s phone didn’t even come up when he and Cassius touched base in his hospital room at GH; that leaves Sidwell.

Did Cassius Rob PCPD Evidence To Hide Something, Or To Give To A Grieving Father?

Cassius seems possibly to be a mixed character, with both good and bad, like Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart).

It doesn’t seem like he’s covering for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) with any kind of ulterior motive, other than he’s Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) son.

So it does make some kind of sense, even though he answers to Sidwell and Cullum, that he might rob PCPD evidence to give Marco’s phone to his father.

However, there could be a dual reason-yes, Cassius could have given Marco’s phone to Sidwell because he has very little of Marco’s things to remember him by.

But also, the phone could have a lot of evidence on it that the PCPD could use to bring Sidwell and Cullum down, and they can’t risk that!
