The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) bone marrow donation could change the game for him and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) where reunion hopes are concerned. Could the two be headed to the altar in the near future?

Cane Ashby Steps Up To The Plate

The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that the Thursday, April 23 episode could be a turning point for Lily and Cane. Ever since Cane re-entered the canvas in the summer of 2025, the soap has shown just how Cane has never gotten over Lily, despite their divorce years ago.

Cane held on tight to the idea that he and Lily would at some point reunite during his absence from Genoa City, and even though there have been sparks between the two since he’s returned, there have been obstacles as well.

Lily was furious over Cane’s “Aristotle Dumas” deception, and she also didn’t earn any points for teaming up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to dupe him into believing that she and the twins were kidnapped.

With that said, on Thursday’s show, after Lily revealed that Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) needed a bone marrow transplant, and none of his biological family members were a match, Cane stepped up to the plate.

He offered to get tested, and while Lily was ecstatic, she questioned why he’d go to these lengths to help. It seems rather obvious that, despite her recent betrayal, Cane still cares for Lily and her extended family. So, what happens next?

Cane Is Redeemed

All arrows point to the fact that Cane will be a match and eventually donate his bone marrow to Malcolm, thus saving the day.

Still, this action won’t only redeem him in Lily’s eyes, but also the twins and the rest of the Winters family. With Cane doing this, a door has been nicely opened for a romantic reunion between Lane.

After all, if Lily had decided to hook back up with her ex, she’d face massive scrutiny from her kids, brother Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James), Malcolm, and possibly Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Malcolm and Cane will surely bond once Cane “saves” his life, the twins will be grateful, and Devon and Nate will likely soften toward the man, thus making it easier for Lily to fall back into her ex’s arms.

Lily and Cane have been married once, so it wouldn’t take too long before a proposal could occur. Will wedding bells ring in Genoa City once again for these two?
