The future queen of England is going to embark on a short trip to Italy to learn about early childhood education. It’s also her first solo trip since she was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. And yes, it’s a move that has a lot of people wondering what’s going on behind closed doors.

But here’s the thing: a lot of people can’t help but raise an eyebrow over the fact that the Princess of Wales is going on this trip on her own, as more often than not she’s always had her husband, Prince William, by her side.

But it appears as though Kate Middleton is looking to change the way she does things, especially when it comes to her royal engagements and public appearances.

She’s spent many years walking behind her husband and being in his shadow, and she simply doesn’t want to do that anymore.
