Genoa City and the Newmans and Abbotts could be in for chaos from the most dastardly duo since Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise)!

The Weekly Promo Saw Matt And Patty Steaming Mutual Attraction

The Y&R weekly promo saw Matt and Patty absolutely steaming mutual attraction and mad chemistry as they passed one another in Crimson Lights, their paths having crossed once before.

They’d previously passed one another once before, with the same chemistry exploding between them as they exchanged glances.

But whether they act on that mad attraction or not, they may well team up for other reasons-the enemies that they have in common!

Matt has tangled with the Abbotts as well as the Newmans, and Patty with the Abbotts, and even saved Ian one time from a burning building, for which he was very grateful.

He helped Patty set up a new identity, and that’s how she disappeared for quite a while-longtime viewers will remember her brother is Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

Matt And Patty Could Absolutely Team Up To Help Each Other Get What They Want

Matt and Patty could absolutely team up to help each other get what they want, in Matt’s case revenge, and in Patty’s—well, it could be most anything.

But what she wants most right now is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman); the two were married years ago, until he realized she was criminally insane.

This time, neither Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)  nor any of the other Newmans were in Crimson Lights, or they’d have spotted Matt.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) didn’t spot him in the Genoa City Athletic Club either, where he was talking to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Victor Leads The Manhunt For Matt, And Patty Might Help With False Leads

It’s not like the Newmans don’t know Matt’s in town, even though he’s literally acting like he isn’t himself-whether he’s feigning amnesia, who knows?

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) had an altercation with Matt at the Chancellor Café, and he made sure his father and other relatives, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for sure, knew it.

Victor will lead the manhunt for Matt, and it’s quite likely that Patty will help Matt with some false leads or other misdirects.

There’s a good possibility that Matt and Patty will hide out together, much in the same way Jordan and Ian did, causing all kinds of chaos.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of Matt and Patty, and what evil they’ll unleash on the Newmans and the Abbotts?
