The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) believes that Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) does not influence Forrester Creations. Well, Steffy was right to feel that way until Hope developed a creative plan of attack.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had zero intentions of adjusting the power structure at the family business that his father had allowed him to co-head in recent years with Steffy. Following the reversed coup that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope achieved, Ridge believed that all was going well.

But Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) needless alienation caused her to take her renewed husband up on his offer. Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) vision for Katie to lead a new fashion house, which she dubbed Logan after her maiden name, not just Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) or Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis), came to smashing fruition.

Hope Logan Spencer’s Hope For The Future Realized?

Katie’s success happened because Eric Forrester (John McCook) was also treated badly by Ridge. Brooke didn’t do anything to correct her husband’s clumsy handling of Eric’s perceived workplace risks, which was a questionable point in the plot.

In contrast, Hope calculated that Brooke’s ascendancy to become co-Chief Executive Officer would alleviate family tensions. She wouldn’t feel compelled to leave FC, and Brooke would gain the power to greenlight Hope for the Future.

Eliminating Steffy would solve Hope’s problems. Noelle’s character was assuming Ridge’s love for his now nine-time wife would override the loyalty he has to his daughter, Steffy.

Ridge Forrester Floats Idea To Gauge Reaction

Ridge didn’t have to tell Steffy that Brooke wants to be his co-CEO. But, as teasers show, he did for two reasons. One, he needed to gauge Steffy’s reaction. Two, he wanted her to hear that news from him rather than learn it through the grapevine, meaning Hope, Brooke, or both.

Brooke has put her husband in an untenable situation. He appears to need to tell Brooke no, but that could cause marital strife, with that assumption hardly being difficult due to their many separations and divorces.

Alternatively, he could accept Brooke’s offer and create an alternate position for Steffy. Whether she would take it is anyone’s guess.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Leaves The Family Business In Haste?

The above subject header is one potential outcome if Brooke gets her way. Viewers are also wondering why Brooke accepted Hope’s idea within minutes of her offering it but didn’t do anything to stop Ridge from creating Eric’s early retirement, which led to his ill-fated bolt to Logan.

Securing Steffy would be the type of mega acquisition Katie wanted when she remained open to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) idea that Hope leave FC and join Logan. But getting Steffy would top that option by a million soapy miles.

The idea of Logan following Eric’s line by adding FC’s co-CEO would create tremendous daytime drama. But that chain of events would first be put in motion by Ridge agreeing to Brooke’s pitch that they become the modern version of Eric and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).
