Cancelled Battle On The Beach Returns To HGTV This Summer!

HGTV viewers were devastated last year when the network cancelled the popular series Battle On The Beach after four seasons. 

 The DIY channel announced today that they have had a change of heart and Battle On The Beach WILL return this summer.  However, the cast will look very different.  Keep reading for all the details!

Battle On The Beach Gets Summer 2026 Premiere Date

On Monday May 11 HGTV announced the exciting Battle On The Beach news in a press released. 

The network teased, “Armed with $100,000, seven weeks, and invaluable advice from their respected mentors, the teams will overhaul the dated digs while navigating unprecedented design challenges, including repurposing discarded roadside finds in their homes and swapping partners for the chance at additional prize money.”

Battle On The Beach Season 5 is set to premiere on HGTV on Monday June 1st at 9:00 PM.  There will be seven brand new episodes airing over the course of June and July.  However, there is one cast member that appears to be missing from the new season.

On previous seasons of Battle On The Beach, there were three mentors that helped the contestants along the way and served as renovation coaches. 

HGTV announced the mentors this summer would be Sarah Bauemler, Ty Pennington, Mika Kleinschmidt.  HGTV star Alison Victoria is noticeably missing from the new episode’s line-up. 

Interestingly, Alison is the one who announced last year that the show wouldn’t be returning and HGTV had cancelled Battle On The Beach.  Is it possible that Alison Victoria just thought the show was cancelled because they didn’t invite her back and had replaced her?

The Season 5 judges for Battle On The Beach are listed as “Renovation Aloha” duo Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama in the HGTV press released.  The fan faves will be judging the projects and crowning the $100K winners.  Will you be tuning in?  What do you think of the new cast?
