General Hospital Spoilers: There’s A New Cop In Town – Joe Fitzpatrick Called To Arrest Curtis Ashford?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there’s a new cop in town, and he gets the call to arrest Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for assaulting Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson)!

 In the preview clip for Monday, May 18^th’s episode, Isaiah can be seen writhing in pain on the floor of the Metro Court Gardens after Curtis assaulted him.

In the scene, Bennett’s character looks noticeably thoughtful before Dante Falconeri  (Dominic Zamprogna)  walks up to him and asks, “Hey, dispatcher. What’s the story with this arrest?” Jonathan’s character exhales deeply, puts his hands on his hips, and responds, “A call came in from the maître d’ at the Metro Court Hotel.

He mentioned there was some kind of argument, a scuffle occurring in the gardens, and he was worried that things might escalate and patrons could get hurt.

By the time we arrived, it was clear that things had indeed escalated-Dante called him “dispatcher,” but it’s plain he responded to the incident.

Curtis Was Way Out Of Line With Isaiah

It was plain to everyone who saw the incident that Curtis was way out of line with Isaiah-and when Curtis goaded him, Isaiah had already had beyond enough!

It started when Curtis entered the gardens area of the Metro Court restaurant and spotted Isaiah with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) having a meal.

He went ballistic when he saw Isaiah feeling Portia’s baby kick, which Portia was fine with-but Curtis was definitely not! 

He shouted, “Get your hands off of my child!” and came over and started confronting Isaiah about causing the wreck that he and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) were injured in; her injuries were much worse.

This culminated in an argument that turned violent as Isaiah and Portia were trying to leave the restaurant, and Curtis slugged Isaiah, knocking him off his feet, and he collided with a table!

So Is Curtis Still Beating On Isaiah By The Time The Police Get There?

It sounds like the maitre’d at the Metro Court calls the police when Isaiah and Curtis are fighting, but it wouldn’t have been surprising if Portia were the one who called!

So, is Curtis still beating on Isaiah by the time the police get there? In the preview clip for Monday,  May 18^th’s episode, Portia is looking up at Curtis as Isaiah lies in pain on the floor and shouts, “What in the hell is wrong with you?”

It looks like Curtis has inflicted more injury on Isaiah than he had with the initial blow, although Isaiah sailing into a table with enough force to knock it over didn’t help!

It’s a distinct possibility that Curtis will be charged with a serious charge like attempted murder, if the police witness him beating Isaiah when they arrive!
