ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) must have some pretty powerful friends to pull off a transfer to Pentonville in Port Charles, New York. Could Agent Thomas Rayner be working with Cyrus to get to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Raynor Wanted To Take Down Sonny Corinthos

General Hospital’s Agent Rayner blew into Port Charles in 2009 and targeted Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Agent Rayner was determined to use Spinelli to force Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to help him get rid of not only Anthony Zacchara (Bruce Weitz) but also Sonny. Jason wasn’t willing to give up anything on his long time friend and Spinelli almost went to prison because of it. However, Raynor was outfoxed at his own game and the evidence against Spinelli disappeared with the help of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and an FBI agent with a crush on Spinelli.

GH Spoilers – Dante’s Shooting Was A Second Chance

General Hospital’s Rayner thought he had hit pay dirt with Sonny when he shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when he was revealed to be an undercover cop. Dante was determined to take down Sonny for his wife Claudia Zacchara Corinthos’ (Sarah Brown) death. However, Sonny was completely innocent. Raynor was furious when the evidence against Sonny turned up missing. Taking down Sonny would have been a huge boost for Raynor’s career. Could Raynor have joined the dark side because he had no legal way to take Sonny down? Could Raynor be Cyrus’ connection that allows him to pull off his work from inside prison walls?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Had Important Help

General Hospital’s Cyrus has friends in high places. Cyrus has been working from behind bars since he was put away by the DEA run by Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Cyrus has to have friends who can move him from prison to prison and a network to get orders to his men on the outside. Agent Rayner would be the perfect person to work with Cyrus now that he is in Port Charles.

Rayner wants Sonny as a notch in his belt and is determined to take down both Jason And Sonny. Rayner could arrange for officers in the prison system to get messages out for Cyrus. Rayner could very easily arrange transfers and get rid of restrictions for Cyrus. Cyrus can push Sonny to retaliate against him allowing for Sonny’s arrest and possible conviction.

General Hospital’s Rayner has proven that he will stop at nothing to take down Sonny and Jason. Rayner will use anyone he can to get the win he is after. Agent Rayner is the logical choice for Cyrus’ partner in crimes. Will Rayner and Cyrus succeed in their bid to take down Sonny? Will Sonny take down Cyrus and Rayner in the end?
