They are soon going to be connected as family, but that doesn’t mean Melania Trump wants to be close, nor does it mean that she wants to get to know her at all.

Clearly, we are talking about Bettina Anderson, West Palm Beach socialite and Donald Trump Jr’s new wife and addition to the Trump family. The couple just got married in a private ceremony in the Bahamas over the weekend.

For Melania, she just doesn’t have a reason to welcome Bettina to the family or even bother speaking to her or be in the same room as her.

And it’s not because Melania doesn’t like her or has a reason to keep her distance from her. Instead, she simply doesn’t care.

The president’s son was in so many long-term relationships in the past that for Melania, she just doesn’t want to invest in another relationship with a family member if she’s unsure if it’s going to last or not.

And who can blame the First Lady for feeling this way, right? Plus, she’s got so many things going on in her life right now that the last thing she needs to worry about is Donald Trump Jr and his new wife and whether or not they’ll be at a family gathering in the future.

Plus, Melania doesn’t want to be compared to Bettina at all. Sure she was a socialite and model at one point, but that’s all in the past now.

As First Lady of the United States, Melania wants to make sure that she leaves a good impression and that history is going to be kind to her.

Bettina, meanwhile, hasn’t even spoken up yet. Instead, she’s just photographed each and every time she’s out and about with her new man. Now, whether or not she will change her last name to Trump remains to be seen, too.
