Beyond the Gates spoilers note that the crossover storyline will take place from June 9-12. BTG’s Executive Producer, Sheila Duckworth, spoke with TV Insider about the big event, noting that while there have been crossover events between the show and its sister soaps in the past, that was ‘little kernels of stuff’.

This time around, fans will see, “…  a multi-episode display of the Newmans and the Abbotts and everybody on the show really intermingled with our Duprees, and it is going to be big, and I mean big.”

In fact, the aftermath shockwaves won’t end when the Y&R characters head back to Genoa City. Duckworth states, “What happens in these episodes is so compelling, and then what happens as a result of what happens in these episodes is epic. That is all I can say. It is epic.”

The six Y&R characters entering the Beyond the Gates canvas include: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Winters (Bryton James), his wife, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters).
