The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of June 8 suggest some twists. Expect Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to get a victory. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has a growing obsession.
Plus, what is Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) future? Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.
5 Key Takeaways:
- Lily Winters finally scores a major victory involving Chancellor
- Lily questions merging Chancellor into Winters after tension with Devon
- Adam Newman’s growing fixation on Sally Spectra raises red flags
- Billy Abbott’s promises may crumble as his Chancellor obsession resurfaces
- Matt Clark’s future remains uncertain as Nick Newman begins rehab journey
Lily Winters’ Victory
Let’s start off with Lily, who will get a victory. This doesn’t have to do with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) or Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore).
Fans might recall the times when Lily and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) struck a deal, only for her to get the shorter stick.
However, Victor will finally keep his word this time. Since Lily helped with the kidnapping scheme, she will get Chancellor. That will be a huge win for Lily.
Change in Plan
However, Lily will confess to Cane that she’s not sure about folding Chancellor into Winters anymore. That in part is probably because of Devon Winters (Bryton James).
It’s one thing to be worried about Lily’s romantic choices. However, she is also a grown woman, and Devon seems to be throwing his issues onto her.
Holden Novak Connects
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of June 8 reveal that Lily could apologize to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
Devon absolutely does not trust Holden at all. However, Lily wants a chance to get to know her newest grown sibling.
Billy Abbott’s Mistake
Fans know that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) made all kinds of promises once Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) admitted she was pregnant.
However, fans know those promises will likely be broken.
Billy just can’t help it and he does still have an obsession with Chancellor.
That could give Adam an opening to get closer to Sally.
Adam might claim it’s to protect Sally and the baby, but it might look like something else to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)!
What Else to Expect
As for what else to expect next week, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) should enter rehab.
However, treatment could be harder for Nick than he expects.
What does Matt’s future look like?
There is also Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox). The woman has to decide whether to take the chief of staff position at the hospital.
That could have Stephanie staying in town.
While that will make Holden happy at first, I do wonder if she will interfere in his personal relationships
