General Hospital Spoilers: Tristan’s True Father Exposed – Did Sonny Create Another Secret Heir?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease new Port Charles resident Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) could be Carly Roberts’, AKA Reese Marshall’s (Kari Wührer) son.

Supposedly, she died in the big Port Charles train wreck in 2005, outside Port Charles but we all know death means nothing in Soapland!

Carly Roberts Became Involved With Sonny Around Twenty Years Ago

Carly Roberts was Reese Marshall’s real name and she was an FBI agent and also an attorney, she and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were best friends in high school.

Her father was Dan Roberts, (Christopher Halsted) who had seduced a teenage Carly, and originally, she had come to Port Charles to find Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) when she was kidnapped as a child.  

At the time, Federal  prosecutor John Durant (Corbin Bernsen)  believed that searching for Kristina would provide him with the ideal chance to collect information on Sonny, which he could ultimately use to bring the mobster to justice.

In the process, Reese became involved with Sonny, and Carly, who was involved with Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) at the time, became obsessive over Sonny and his relationship with Reese.

Her obsession with Sonny’s love life lost her Lorenzo, because he just couldn’t put up with her crazy at the time!

Reese Was Involved With Both Sonny And Ric

To complicate matters further, Reese became involved with both Sonny and Ric Lansing, (Rick Hearst) and when Sonny found out she’d cheated on him with Ric, he ended their relationship.

It wasn’t very long afterwards that she left town by train and was involved in a accident, which according to General Hospital history, killed her; but then again, how many people presumed dead in Port Charles returned alive?

Reese very well could have been carrying Sonny’s child when she left town-or for that matter, Ric’s!

At the time, Ric was married to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who was pregnant with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), so it seems like Tristan Roberts might be the right age.

Sonny Might Be Thrilled To Find Out He Has Another Son, But He Might Be A Nephew!

Sonny might be thrilled to find out he has another son he never knew about with Carly Roberts aka Reese Marshall, but on the other hand, he might be a nephew!

It’s not like Port Charlesites haven’t had children they never knew about, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are a good example.

Tristan Roberts could arrive in town as an FBI agent, or possibly even a WSB agent, considering the character name is from Tristan Rogers and his character Robert Scorpio.

But even so, the character may have chosen to use his mother’s real maiden name. Will Sonny find out his super sperm struck again, or will Molly find out she has a half-brother?
