She’s going to do things her way, regardless of what anyone has to say about it. Clearly, we are talking about Meghan Markle as she is once again being criticized by how she is trying to protect her children’s privacy online.

In other words, a lot of critics are rolling their eyes that the Duchess of Sussex chooses to show her children on her Instagram page, but almost always covers up their faces.

That’s because she doesn’t want to bring more attention to her kids, Archie and Lilibet, than necessary.

But at the same time, a lot of people believe that because the Sussex kids are royals, Meghan should just show their faces to the public already in the same way that Prince William and Kate Middleton do with their children.

“The Duchess has always been clear that there is a distinction between sharing moments from her life and exposing her children to public scrutiny,” her spokesperson told Newsweek.

“By obscuring their faces, she is demonstrating the very principle she advocates for: giving children privacy, agency, and protection in an increasingly digital world.”

Meghan Stands By Her Principals

The spokesperson continued, “Far from being contradictory, by concealing their faces she is actually reflecting the message she delivered in Geneva: that parents can choose to share family experiences while still taking deliberate steps to protect identities, privacy, and digital footprint.”

Of course, many royalists had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Meghan had to close her Instagram comment section because of derangers, Meghan’s own friends have to limit their comment section when they post Meghan because of the barrage of abuse and harassment they get.”

And then there was this comment as well: “She and about 10 million other parents obscure the children’s faces. Maybe it keeps them safer, maybe it doesn’t. But there’s nothing nefarious about it except when the Sussexs do it?”
