Over at the park cafe, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) meets with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). 

Fans know that Nate recommended Stephanie for the chief of staff position at the hospital. 

Stephanie spoke with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) about it, who encouraged her to take it. So, Stephanie will tell Nate the good news.

Phyllis Summers’ Whines

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, June 12 reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) whines about her losses. 

Phyllis thought for sure her kids would be so impressed with her giving back Newman Enterprises. 

However, the only reason Phyllis did was to avoid prison. Not exactly a selfless move.

While Phyllis whines about how unfair life is, Victor will have a gift for the redhead. I wonder if Victor will offer her the dusty remains of Arabesque. 

Victor never gives anything to anyone without it serving his better interests. So, I have to agree that Phyllis should be questioning this gift.

Nick Newman’s Struggle

While Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is on a mission for Victor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will continue to struggle. 

Nick goes to a meeting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Meetings are all well and good, but the guy actually needs to be in actual treatment. 

Nick thinks his father is crazy for keeping Matt on the Newman Ranch. At the same time, I wonder if Matt will end up becoming Victor’s next right-hand man. 

That should provide a lot of conflict for Nick and Victor’s relationship.Back to Nick’s addiction, miracle recoveries happen all the time in soaps. It’s not realistic, but nothing in soaps is.
