The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Behind-The-Scenes Shocker, Scott Clifton Details Terrifying Head Injury That Inspired Liam’s Trauma

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal some behind-the-scenes drama that transferred to the TV screen; Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) recently opened up about a surprising injury that required a hospital visit.

This caused a delay in filming some of his scenes as Liam; fans noticed his  eye appeared somewhat injured, prompting Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) to tease him about a mishap in the shower.

Liam’s Injury Was Addressed

Liam’s injury was addressed because Scott Clifton had experienced a significant one in his personal life.

On Instagram, Clifton posted some photos of his experience along with the story of what transpired.

“Sometimes life imitates art, and Liam no longer holds the title for head trauma,“ Clifton joked, referencing Liam’s own fainting episodes and head injuries.

He shared that he had been under considerable stress due to a crisis involving his 81-year-old mother, which resulted in difficulty sleeping. Clifton confessed that he must have gotten up too quickly when he went to the bathroom.

Clifton Fainted In The Middle Of The Night And Fell Hard

This caused Clifton to faint in the middle of the night, resulting in a hard fall, and when he regained consciousness, he was shocked by the damage.

“Blood everywhere, a splitting headache, and an unyielding urge to get to a mirror and assess the extra work I’d created for the B&B makeup team in just a few hours.

That’s when I spotted the large hole above my eye,” Clifton recounted. He then went to the emergency room, where he was scanned and stitched up.

The CBS soap star was also reprimanded for thinking he could use a makeup brush near his injury anytime soon.

Clifton Was Warned Of Temporary Memory Loss And Cognitive Sluggishness

Clifton was advised to brace himself for some “temporary memory loss and cognitive sluggishness due to the concussion” as well.

Fortunately, the producers were very accommodating once Scott Clifton updated them on his condition.

He was encouraged to concentrate on his recovery at home while his scenes were adjusted to be filmed the following week.

“The next day, my phone was inundated with the most affectionate and concerned messages from the cast and crew, and that’s truly why I’m sharing this.”

“ I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this team, this family, this entirely supportive daytime empire,” Clifton remarked.

Clifton Expressed His Appreciation

Clifton concluded by expressing his appreciation for the wonderful team and even made a light-hearted comment about Darin Brooks “putting up with this new, less attractive face.”

It’s a relief to know that Clifton is doing well and that his injury didn’t sideline him for long!
