General Hospital Rumors: Ryan Paevey Out As Cassius Faison?

General Hospital (GH) leaks and rumors suggest that Ryan Paevey will be exiting the canvas soon, as Cassius Faison a.k.a. Fake Nathan West. There’s a ton of buzz about this story, so all the sizzling details are below.

Cassius Faison’s Days Are Numbered

As per some rumors and leaks online, Paevey has apparently wrapped up filming on the ABC soap. Word on the street is that Dominic Zamprogna, who plays Dante Falconeri on General Hospital, recently revealed during a fan event that Ryan has already finished up his most recent run on the daytime drama.

This would mean Cassius could be exiting the show as early as July to sometime in August.

The idea of Cassius departing from Port Charles does make sense. More and more people are finding out that he’s not who he’s pretended to be for months now.

Zamprogna did tell Michael Fairman when he visited his podcast recently that Dante will learn that “Nathan” is not Nathan, and the truth about Cassius’ identity will come out to “everyone”.

How Will He Exit?

It’s important to note that Paevey’s exit is only a leak/rumor: nothing has been confirmed by either General Hospital or the actor himself.

Still, how could Cassius exit the canvas? Considering he’s been impersonating a dead man for months, having people, as well as Nathan’s son, James West (Gary James Fuller), believe he is someone he’s not, there’s a good chance Cassius heads to prison.

After all, he also has been working for criminals Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) as their henchman, too.

Then again, if he decides to betray either man by helping a hero/heroine in storylines, Cassius could end up passing away at the hands of Sidwell or Cullum.

There’s a good chance that Cassius may assist Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in escaping, which would seal his fate with his ‘employers’.

Cullum could also find out that Cassius covered for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) after he shot him, so there’s that, too!

Still, how devastating would it be for Liesl to find out she’s had another son, only for him to die a brutal death?
