Kristen has been haunted by what she did to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) although she tries hard not to show it-but she’s had hallucinations and nightmares on the regular.

It’s almost like she expects the haunting specter of Sophia, with her head bloody and bashed in, to turn her into the police herself.

What really galled Kristen is that Sophia couldn’t even get killing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) right-Kristen told her exactly what to do and how to do it, but she had to do her own thing!

That’s what made Kristen so furious at her-that, and the fact that Sophia used Kristen’s daughter, Rachel to do her dirty work while they were both in Bayview.

And Rachel got tired of being used by the older girl, and especially being her cover-Rachel could have easily been blamed for Sophia’s crimes!

Kristen Thinks She Shouldn’t Feel Guilty For What She Did But She Does

Kristen thinks she shouldn’t feel guilty for what she did but she does-she did the world a favor by ridding it of the maniac, but yet, she was so young!

It’s the fact of Sophia’s young age that makes Kristen feel guilty for actually killing her, instead of just helping her fake her death-but after the Johnny fiasco, she just couldn’t trust her!

How did she know Sophia wouldn’t turn the tables on her, and tell the police that Kristen was basically using her as an assassin?

More importantly, how did she know that Sophia wouldn’t still harass Rachel, or try to make her do  her bidding again?

The Nightmares Become More Vivid, The Hallucinations More Frightening

As time goes on, the nightmares become more vivid, and the hallucinations more frightening.

Kristen screams out loud as she sees a ghostly and ghastly Sophia attack Rachel!

She tells herself this isn’t real-it’s her fears taking over-but she refuses to go for therapy.

If she goes to a therapist, she knows that the therapist is required to notify the police if a crime is confessed; so Kristen continues to suffer in silence.

But eventually, everything all catches up with Kristen-and she can only be thankful it didn’t happen in front of Rachel.

She wakes up mid nightmare to find herself with a knife in her hand, defending herself against nothing-Kristen’s lost her grip, and she can no longer avoid treatment!
