Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Isn’t the Father? Joy’s Fake DNA Bombshell Explodes

Days Of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) may not be the father of Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) daughter.  

Joy just gave Alex a huge sob story about not having insurance for her daughter to cover medical appointments.  Is this just the beginning of Joy’s gold-digging scheme? 

Joy Wesley’s Unbelievable Timing 

Joy called Alex in a panic and all he heard was his daughter screaming.  Joy led Alex to believe that something was wrong with Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase).  

Alex grabbed his keys and ran out the door, leaving Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) questioning his exit.  Alex quickly learned that the situation was nothing more than an insurance issue.  

According to Joy, they no longer have insurance because she was covered under her father’s policy.  

Of course, most insurance companies will pick up emergency visits when out of town, but not routine visits.  Alex has promised to take care of the money that Joy owes to the hospital.  

Fans Are Suspicious Of Joy Wesley 

Many fans already have the theory that the baby is not Alex’s child at all.  Rumors have been swirling for some time that the child actually belongs to Jeremy Horton (Michael Roarke).  

After all, Jeremy was the one who called Joy to come to Salem.  Jeremy wanted to destroy Stephanie and Alex’s marriage.  

Jeremy and Joy were in cahoots, and that has been obvious from the start.  Philip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) was among the first to ask if Joy was looking for a payday.  

Joy denied Philip’s accusations, but he is not sure if he believes that or not.  Joy is obviously looking for another place to live as well.  

Is Joy Wesley Sure Of Her Daughter’s Paternity? 

Fans know that Joy was pregnant when she left Salem over a year ago.  Fans also know that Joy almost slept with Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) her first night in Salem.  

Joy and Johnny both denied sleeping together, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t another candidate.  

Fans are holding to the idea that the baby would pass for Jeremy’s much faster than Alex’s.  

Joy’s own mother referred to her as promiscuous.  Could Joy have lost the child she was expecting when she left Salem and got pregnant by someone else? 

Does Joy even know who the father of this baby is? Could Jeremy have helped Joy to fake these results to come between Stephanie and Alex? 

The summer promo suggests a medical emergency with Kelsey at the hospital.  Could Alex learn that this baby isn’t his after all? 

Is Joy scamming Alex to get her part of the Kiriakis fortune?
