Sure, Kate Middleton might have access to all of the world’s most incredible crowns and jewels and her life might look like a fairytale, but it’s not all princess tea parties behind closed doors at Kensington Palace. In fact, it’s the opposite. Here are just five reasons why Kate Middleton’s life will get harder before it gets any easier.
#1 The Focus Is Back On Her
Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled into their new lives in Los Angeles, the focus is back on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and as many royal fans can imagine, it comes with the good and the bad. As a matter of fact, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were none too pleased with a Tatler Magazine profile suggested that the mother-of-three was feeling tired behind the scenes and complaining of having too much of a royal workload.
#2 Prince William And The Pressure Coming From The Crown
Not only is the spotlight back on Kate Middleton, but it’s also on Prince William, too. Sure, being the future Queen Consort of England has its perks but it’s also got to be one of the most stressful jobs on the planet and the Duchess of Cambridge knows it. She also knows that trying to balance her royal workload, raise three children at home and also give the future King of England all of the love and support he needs is no walk in the park.
#3 There Might Not Be A 2020 Pregnancy
The Duchess of Cambridge has made it no secret that she absolutely loves babies and that she also loves having a rather big family. And while she’s hinted that she would love to get pregnant a fourth time around, that might not happen this year. With the royal family shrinking in full-time members, the Covid-19 pandemic and economic chaos and despair in some parts of the world, Kate will have to press the pause button on any of her pregnancy plans.
#4 She’ll Be Expected To Follow Sophie Wessex’s Lead
Many reports have long indicated that Queen Elizabeth sees Sophie Wessex as her favorite daughter-in-law, and for a good reason, too. Not only is she dependable and discreet, but she’s also someone who isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and get down to work, no matter where she is or what she’s doing for that matter. With Sophie Wessex now the media’s new royal darling, Kate Middleton will be expected to follow her lead, regardless if she wants to or not.

#5 Royal Business Matters
Let’s face it: it will take a very long time for the world to ever look the same way it did before the Covid-19 world pandemic hit. It will also be a very long time before we see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dazzle on the red carpet, mingle with the top celebrities and the most influential people in the world or better yet, shake someone’s hands.
In other words, the parties are now a thing of the past and instead, it’s all royal business matters from here on out. And yes, Kate will have to work harder than she ever did before to keep up with the royal workload set forth by Queen Elizabeth herself. Do you agree?
