‘Y&R’ Spoilers Weekly Update July 6-10: Ashley Returns, Jack’s Life at Risk & Nikki’s Devastating Prognosis

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week of July 6, 2026. We can expect Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to return.

Nikki Newman’s Prognosis

Let’s start off with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). The woman totally lost her sight right before surgery. While the surgery seemed successful, only time will tell if Nikki will regain her eyesight.

In the meantime, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes a surprising decision about Nikki’s medical care. It doesn’t sound like things get any better for Nikki. On Friday, she struggles with her new condition. 

Jack Abbott’s Fate

Over with Jack, he was found gushing blood from a stab wound. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) managed to escape Dr. Laurence Markham’s (Jere Burns) property. 

However, now a fresh new hell is beginning. Jack’s life will hang in the balance. 

Meanwhile, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) claims that Diane tried to murder Jack!

Ashley Abbott Returns

The Young and the Restless fans are getting some exciting return news. Ashley is coming back to Genoa City, although I wish it were under happier circumstances.

The blonde will learn about what’s happened to Jack. I would personally love to see a showdown between Ashley and Patty!

Jill Abbott’s Intentions

Over with Jill Abbott (temporarily played by Lauren Kolsow), she will continue trying to resolve Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) issues. However, it is also teased that Billy ends up questioning Jill’s intentions. 

Matt Clark’s New Chapter

As for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), he is starting a new chapter.  It seems that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to be a big part of that. 

I’m not sure if this is good or bad, and exactly for whom! Both Phyllis and Matt have complicated, warped pasts.  So, maybe it won’t be a match in hell, after all.

What Else to Expect

As for the rest of the seek, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has more tension with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) sees a new side to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). 

Plus, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) pleads his case to Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell). Does this have anything to do with Jack’s stabbing and Patty’s claims?
