‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Recap Thursday, July 9: Finn’s Secret Betrayal, Divorce Paper Decision & Ridge Declares War

The Bold and the Beautiful recap is in for Thursday, July 9, 2026. In today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) gets ambushed.

Eric Forrester’s Confession

Eric Forrester (John McCook) is fussing over RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti). Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) swears that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) isn’t getting away with this! 

Ridge suddenly asks Eric about Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis). Eric says that it’s put a strain on his marriage. RJ says they can leave him alone. 

Ridge tells Eric that he is going to end this madness! 

Deacon Sharpe Explains

Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) explains to Sheila that the pain won’t end if she won’t let go.

Sheila will remember this as a tragedy, but also has good memories. Deacon never expected this to happen and apologizes. 

Sheila sits down in front of the papers. With a pen in her hand, Sheila admits this is hard. Does he plan on marrying Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig)?

Deacon says they should all be free. This doesn’t feel freeing to her. What is she moving on to? 

Sheila signs the papers. She doesn’t want to be with someone who won’t love her. Sheila does thank Deacon for making her become a better person.

She’s capable of being loved, and she knows that now. Deacon is sure there is someone out there for her. They hug and Sheila leaves. 

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Baffled

Taylor tells Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn about Sheila’s request. Steffy says it will never happen. Sheila will never be allowed near her family. 

Finn is thinking. The man says maybe Sheila will sign the papers anyway, then leaves. 

Steffy asks Taylor if she’ll keep seeing Deacon even if Sheila won’t sign the divorce papers? Steffy is sure the threats will come soon. Deacon calls Taylor to announce that Sheila signed the papers. Steffy is baffled. 

Bill Spencer Gloats

At work, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) laughs with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). They are talking about Will punching RJ. Bill calls RJ the “mini soft dressmaker.”

Bill says the family is thriving. Logan is doing wonderful, and he has his family all together. Wyatt tells his dad not to get ahead of himself.

They aren’t at FC’s level yet. Bill thinks it will be a matter of time. 

Bill enjoys the competition. Wyatt exits, then Ridge barges in. Ridge declares that this is war! Oh, enough with the threats and show us some action, Dressmaker.

John Finnegan’s Secret

Sheila drops by Finn’s office. 

Finn explains that Steffy won’t accept her ever. Sheila was hoping for good news. She’s done something she can’t take back. She signed the divorce papers.

Finn is shocked! Sheila’s heart is broken and she needs a family, Sheila starts to beg as Finn processes.
