General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Danny Morgan, (Asher Antonyzyn) otherwise known as “Danny the handful” gets handled in upcoming episodes of the ABC soap.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returns to Port Charles a different man, and for one, he steps up as DAD!

Danny Has Mostly Been Raised By Others, Not By His Dad Jason

Danny has mostly been raised by others, not by his dad but it’s not entirely Jason’s fault. Jason has been presumed dead twice for several year stretches since Danny was born, and even when he was home for an extended period, Danny was raised by the “Quartermaine village”. 

Jason took more responsibility towards Danny after Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died, but it was still not an easy transition for either of them.

Jason honestly acted more like a father to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) when he took the hit for shooting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) than he did to Danny,  and that’s the problem.

Now Danny and Rocco are at odds, when previously they were like brothers when Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were together.

Jason Has Had Lots Of Time To Think Over His Life And The Decisions He Made

Jason has had lots of time to think over his life and the decisions he’s made, and most certainly at the top is the scene of Danny upset, watching as the WSB took him away.

Jason will find out when he gets home-since he has had no earthly clue what’s been going on-how Danny has acted out since he’s been gone. Danny even tried to break into the WSB field office to get him out of the black site, and that was definitely not ok! 

Danny has been waging war against the WSB, and it’s understandable, but it’s not appropriate-Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been trying to take care of him but Danny’s a handful!

On the long way home from Jakarta, Jason thinks about Danny and what he needs to change about himself to be a good dad.

Jason Indeed Will Deal With Danny, And “Handle The Handful”

Jason indeed will deal with Danny, and “handle the handful,” realizing that being Dad is more important than being bestie to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enforcer.  

He’ll likely let Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) know that he’s been thinking about his son with her, Jake Webber (Hudson West) as well, even though he’s in art school abroad.

Jason knows he has a lot of lost time to make up for, and not just the time he was in the WSB black site in Indonesia.

Even though Jason won’t give up his long friendships and associations with Carly and Sonny, he knows as a father, he needs to do better-he’s all Danny has. And doing better means helping Danny make amends to those he’s hurt trying to save his father.
